Working hard for Wales in Europe

Labour MEP opens new Wales office

Labour MEP Derek Vaughan has officially opened the doors to his new Wales based office in Cardiff.

The Welsh MEP will now be more easily accessible to constituents who want to contact him to raise a concern or discuss an important issue.

Derek Vaughan MEP said:

"I am delighted to be able to fulfil a commitment that I made to the people of Wales and to officially open up an office based in Cardiff.  I am here to represent Wales’ interests in the European Parliament and this new office will help me to do that more effectively.

I am constantly looking at how I can reach out to people in all parts of the country – North, South, East and West – and I will be doing everything I can to bring what’s going on in Europe closer to the people that I serve.

Keeping in touch with all the four corners of Wales is a key priority for me.  Over the next few months, I am hoping to attend as many events, and speak with as many organisations, across Wales as possible.

If anyone would like me to meet with their group then if they could let my office in Cardiff know in plenty of time, I will try to make as many of them as I can."
